It was a last-minute booking made just a couple of weeks before, but we still managed to plan the music and timings to create just what they wanted!
Afterwards, Nicola said "You put a lot of trust in the entertainment - as it's such a huge part of the evening - but sometimes just you don't know quite what you're going to get. When we arrived and saw they way you had set up, we were absolutely delighted. It was better than we imagined!"
After some upbeat background music while guests arrived and mingled, I performed a live cabaret-style "taster" set: mixing up genres & eras and even including songs by artists especially requested by our future groom. (We are an equal opportunities entertainer!)
It was a pleasure to see people joining in from their tables, even during some of those more romantic numbers and – as ever – I was delighted when guests of all ages joined me on floor by dancing early on in the evening.
After my performance and the guests enjoying some foor, I handed over to DJ Mark, who built the evening up to a crescendo using floor-filling disco classics with chart hits & guest karaoke singers, to assure a fantastic time was had by all.
Nicola later told me "We were so impressed how you and your DJ worked together - the evening went so smoothly."
NEWSFLASH - 6 months on, and John-Paul & Nicola have now booked myself & Phat Aahs' Entertainment to host (MC) a complete Premium all-day entertainment solution for their wedding in the latter part of summer of 2012. This, I hope, can be stated with need for further commentary! (If I do say so myself!)
